...marriage...

. Make time for each other. It’s so easy in our hyper-busy modern lifestyles to forget to set aside a little time to enjoy each other’s company. Start a weekly tradition of setting a date for the two of you to be together doing something you both enjoy. Keep it simple. Take a nice walk together. Sip coffee together in a cozy coffeehouse. Talk to each other, reminisce, and get to know each other again.
2. Take time off from each other. Give each other space and time to work on hobbies and personal interests. When you have an interesting project to work on, you will feel more fulfilled and you will be a more interesting person.
3. Make little romantic gestures. Remember to compliment your spouse. Leave a little love note for them to find once in awhile. Celebrate the day you first met. Send flowers for no particular reason. You should continuously make little deposits in your spouse’s emotional bank account. The return on your investment will be incredible.
4. Fight fair. Don’t argue in front of other people. Don’t insult each other or each other’s families. Never threaten divorce, and never go to bed angry. Let the little things go, and don’t make a big deal out of every disagreement. Before arguing, think; is this really going to matter in the long run?
5. Take interest in what interests your spouse. Watch their favorite shows with them. Read their favorite book, so you can talk about it with them. Encourage them to develop their talents.
6. Listen to your spouse. Husbands, remember that women need to express their feelings. Be a good sport and just listen. Don’t interrupt, or get distracted. Empathize with her. Let her know that you can relate to what she’s feeling. Ladies, please remember that the kind of talk you might like to have with your husband does not come naturally to most men. Just is patient. It’s not a good idea to "unload" on him right when he comes home from work.
7. Accept your spouse for who they are. Practice total acceptance. Don’t hold your spouse to your expectations; you will only succeed at building resentment.
8. Express your commitment. In little ways, you can, and should, renew your vows to each other over and over. Your spouse will feel comfortable and secure knowing that you are truly committed to the marriage. True closeness will only happen when all doubt and insecurity is replaced by confidence in the relationship. Let your spouse know that you really are in it "till death do us part."
9. Trust in each other. Don’t be suspicious. Don’t snoop through each other’s belongings. To help ensure the trust, be honest with your spouse in all things. Never keep secrets from each other, not even little ones.
10. Make it your aim to be your spouse’s best friend. Appreciate your spouse for who they are. Loosen up and have fun with each other. If you are practicing the steps above, you are on your way to being your spouse’s best friend the ultimate relationship in marriage

comment ~cars~

The article talked about how we to choose the best cars! For me better we choose to buy new car than used car. It's better for us to avoid get any problems where can give you tension. Then used car, many of damaged part must you repair. So it one of misspend for our money..Better you buy new car. Can save your money, your time, your energy and release your tension because don't have problems about car. Therefore, think before buy it!!!

CARS

Buying a used car is a great way to save some money and still get the car you've been searching for. Whether you're constrained by your pocketbook or have certain automotive needs that must be met (such as a backseat for the kids or four-wheel drive for winter weather), today's used car options deliver almost everything new cars do and at a lower overall cost.
1. DepreciationThe second you drive a new car off the lot, its value depreciates by as much as 20 percent. Studies show that most cars are only worth 60 to 70 percent of their original value three years after their purchase. When you buy a used car, all the depreciation has already been absorbed by the original owner.
2. No Overpriced Dealer RepairsWhen you purchase certain makes and models of new cars, the parts covered under warranty aren't valid if you use your own mechanic. In these instances, your only choice is to return to the dealership to get your repairs done. This is basically the dealership's way of getting you into their shops with their overpriced service. When you buy a used car, you can get repairs done on your own terms.
3. Save MoneyBuying used cars whether you are buying from a used car dealership, car classifieds, or online sites like Craigslist simply costs less money than buying new. New cars run an average of $25,000, while used cars are closer to the $10,000 range. If you're buying from a private seller, you might even be able to haggle the price down or barter to keep costs low.
4. Save the PlanetWhile buying a hybrid car might seem like a great way to go green, it actually takes more energy to build a new hybrid than it does to buy a fuel-efficient used car. Every time a hybrid comes off the assembly line, it takes about 46,000 miles of driving before the car breaks even in the amount of energy it saves through fuel efficiency. Buying a used car in the first place as long as it's not a gas guzzler will actually reduce your carbon footprint.
5. Lower Car Insurance RatesCar insurance rates are higher for new cars than they are for used cars. The reasons are simple: new cars are more likely to be financed (and therefore need full coverage), and annual insurance rates can run as high as 20 percent of a car's sticker price. Buying a newer, more expensive model can end up costing you money for years.
6. Higher Used Car StandardsThanks to new lemon laws and auto history check websites, it has become easier than ever to determine if a used car has undergone any major damage. Some used car dealerships also offer used car certification, which guarantees that they have been looked over and approved by a qualified mechanic.
7. Avoiding Car DealershipsWhen buying a used car, you have a number of places to look. You can peruse car classifieds, visit eBay or Craigslist, or opt for a used car dealership. New cars typically only come from one place - the dealer - so you have limited options when it comes to salesmen and haggling over prices.
8. Finding Good DealsOwners of new cars can be a pretty finicky set. Many people turn over their cars after one or two years simply as a matter of course, while others may decide that the monthly payments are too high to continue. If you take the time to look for quality used cars, you might find some incredibly good deals from individuals who are motivated to sell.
9. More Bang for Your BuckWhen you drive a new car straight off the lot, you typically pay for every added feature. When you upgrade to include a sunroof, tinted windows, and a spoiler, you can leave with a total price thousands of dollars higher than the sticker price. Used cars with these same amenities might cost a little more than those without, but not nearly to the same extent.
10. Used Cars can be just as Reliable if carefully inspectedAlthough buying a new car may seem like a more responsible choice, no car purchase is guaranteed to be hassle-free. Factory recalls, faulty parts, and required maintanence repairs can occur just as easily in a new car as they can in a used car. As long as you have your used car purchase checked out and you take good care of it, the overall reliability of your car can be just as good as a new car. Further, cars have also become more reliable with advances in technology.
Buying a car - regardless of whether you choose new or used - is a major endeavor that can put a strain on your finances for years. Fortunately, most of the benefits of buying a used car have to do with money. As long as you take your time, evaluate your prospective purchases, and have a mechanic check out the used car before you buy it, you and your used car can spend many happy years together.

comment article ~news~

This is a best news.. This news tell us about 2 children (2 and 4 years old) different religious with his mother. The question in my mind is can mother care 2 children and make sure the children practice their religious (islam) in their life when granted to their Hindu mother? How? The children are very young to know and understand application Islam in their life. I thinks the children must granted by people know about Islam very well to avoid the children become an apostate. This is very dangerous. From my research, the laws in Malaysia very weak and has many problems. Exspeacilly about religious law. The law must be change to safe innocent people and punishment guilty people.

News

In April 2004, the civil High Court in Kuala Lumpur granted custody of 2 young boys aged 2 and 4 years to their Hindu mother. The judge imposed one condition - she was not to expose her sons to her Hindu faith. The 2 boys were previously, without her knowledge or consent, converted to Islam by her estranged husband, himself a recent convert to Islam.
The same court had earlier dismissed an application by the Hindu mother for a declaration that the conversion of the 2 young children to Islam violated her parental right to co-determine the religious upbringing of the children. The reasoning of the court was that it had no jurisdiction, as the children were now Muslim and the correctness or otherwise of their conversion was a matter for the Syariah Court.
Shamala's case brought home the point that the constitutional role of the civil High Court as the protector of the rights of the ordinary citizen was fast becoming illusory. The implications of this case, however, became the rallying force that drew together a small number of concerned NGOs and members of civil society. This group noted that besides Sharmala's case, there were other cases that had impacted the right of belief and the right to practise one's belief as guaranteed under Article 11 of the Federal Constitution. By May 2004, Shamala's case had given life to a coalition of NGOs, which has come to be known as Article 11.

The article I choose is about chocolate. The article talked about advatages and benefits when we take chocolate. The benefits of chocolates comes from inside of chocolate where from article say chocolates contain compounds called flavonoids that can help maintain a healthy heart and good circulation and reduce blood clotting and from that Carl Keen, a nutritionist at the University of California said "More and more, we are finding evidence that consumption of chocolate that is rich in flavonoids can have positive cardiovascular effects”.

From my knowledge, chocolate make person soul happy. Then, from physicology opinion the soul happy comes from our heart so it is good for our healthy heart. The article also said "results lead us to believe that chocolate may contribute to a healthy, well-balanced diet". I agree with that statement because chocolate has low dose-aspirin.I think this is a good article because the statement give with evindence.

article for technical english

...........CHOCOLATE GOODS FOR YOU.............

CHOCOLATE CONTAINS COMPOUNDS called flavonoids that can help maintain a healthy heart and good circulation and reduce blood clotting — which can cause heart attacks and stroke. “More and more, we are finding evidence that consumption of chocolate that is rich in flavonoids can have positive cardiovascular effects,” Carl Keen, a nutritionist at the University of California, Davis, said at a science conference. Keen’s research was funded by and conducted in conjunction with confectionery maker Mars Inc. “We not only have observed an increase in antioxidant capacity after chocolate consumption, but also modulation of certain compounds which affect blood vessels,” he said. Antioxidants such as vitamin C reduce the damage of cancer-causing charged particles in the body. Platelet activation is thought to be an important risk factor in blood clotting. Keen and his colleagues measured the impact of chocolate on platelets in the blood and presented their findings to the British Association for the Advancement of Science conference in Glasgow. The researchers collected blood samples from volunteers who ate 25 grams, or slightly less than an ounce, of chocolate with a high flavonoid content and other volunteers who ate bread. They took blood samples from both groups two and six hours after they ate the chocolate and bread to measure their platelet activation.

Volunteers who ate the chocolate had lower levels of platelet activity, while the scientists found no change in the group that ate the bread. Keen said the results of the study supported earlier research that showed that cocoa acts like low-dose aspirin, which helps to reduce blood clotting. “These results lead us to believe that chocolate may contribute to a healthy, well-balanced diet,” Keen added.

Writing Exercise #1
In 150 words, write on the reason(s) why the famous person you have chosen to describe in the oral presentation, is important to you.

The famous person I had chosen in the oral presentation or my icon is Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Shah Bin Syed Nor Al-Bukhary. He is the richest Bumiputra corporate figure in Malaysia. With involvement in diversified business areas which include transportation and logistics, plantations, property development, defense and armory as well as engineering and power generation. He has a net worth estimated to be US$2.00 billion according to Forbes, making him the 7th richest Malaysian.
The reason why I chosen him because I proud about the Syed Mokhtar's success. Although highest education was only until form five, and he never went university, he able to be successul person. Then, since young he live in poor without father love. From that I know that he is patient and courageous person in face reality life. His success who has significants our world community. For example, in 1996, Syed Mokhtar set up Al-Bukhary Foundation to assist the needy, with him as the sole donator. The foundation finances English, Science and Mathematics classes for more than 20,000 underachieving students every year, as well as running a college scholarship program for 300 students in more than 40 countries. Between 1996 and 2006, the Al-Bukhary Foundation has contributed about 1 billion for various charity causes. The foundation also built the famous and gigantic Al-Bukhary mosque in Alor Setar, Kedah, adjacent to a business complex, which today becomes a prominent landmark in Kedah with its remarkable architecture.
His word in life, 'the harder you work, the luckier you get' give significant influenced my field of study. His word can give inner motivation for me when I feel down in study. Never give up when do something because not easy to be the best! I also respect him because a good son. Before he success, his mother’s advice to treat part of the money he received as belonging to the poor and the needy remains at the core of his heart. True enough. When he was merely 23 years old, he gave away half of his monthly income of RM1,500 to the needy, donating it to 15 poor families in his village. He has never stopped giving since.
He also not forget his mother good deeds where give support for him to be the success person. In January 2008, Syed Mokhtar was honored as the recipient of the Tokoh Maal Hijrah 1429. And owing his success to his mother’s teachings, he decided to give the cash award of RM80,000 to his mother, Sharifah Rokiah Syed Mohamed Rahmat. I think, he must be the teenagers icon espeacially future businessman if want be successful bisunessman. Must learn from his characteristic and attitude. That's all.
